The miniature depiction of the birth of Christ was once intended to contribute to the "edification and contentment of the faithful" - and to remind people of its core message of "peace on earth".
Following on from this, this year's Christmas focus at the Folk Art Museum not only wants to show nativity scenes from the museum's depot, but also discuss new perspectives through accompanying events.
