In the new exhibition at Museum in the Armoury, these and other questions lead us to the material and immaterial treasures of Tyrol. Organised into eleven sections, they offer a multifaceted insight into the past: accompany us through the history of the Museum in the Armoury. Explore with us the striking Tyrolean landscape between mountain and valley as well as the changing everyday worlds of the people who live, come and go here. Scrutinise political events and associated ideologies and see monuments that have been preserved to this day with different eyes. Learn interesting facts about the development of agriculture and mining as well as the interplay between industry, transport and tourism.
Personal stories in the exhibition highlight the individual perspectives of various Tyroleans, while interactive stations build bridges to the present. Together with selected objects from the collection, they make times long past tangible. Some of the everyday objects from grandma's time may make you nostalgic, but the museum at Museum in the Armoury invites you to critically scrutinise history.
