Festival of diversity 2024
We celebrate the diversity of the city with a varied cultural programme for young and old, music and culinary delights at the Folk Art Museum!
For eight years now, the popular “Festival of Diversity” of the City of Innsbruck has been a guest at the Tyrolean Folk Art Museum every summer. The festival is organised by the Integration Office, which is part of the city planning department. The aim is to show how colourful and lively the Tyrolean capital is. The event aims to facilitate encounters and celebrate togetherness – in all its diversity.
Interculturality, integration and diversity are topics that the Tyrolean Folk Art Museum has also been dealing with continuously for several years in various projects and events. The Tyrolean state museums see themselves as a place of encounter, information and exchange. The different perspectives on art, history, culture and nature are always at the centre of exhibition, publication and mediation projects. The “Festival of Diversity”, which the Tyrolean Provincial Museums support in terms of content and organisation, therefore offers valuable opportunities for further networking.
