Lecture

The lecturer Winfried Jaschke visited Israel from 30.10. to 06.11.2022 and observed birds at many hotspots. Although many migrants are already in Africa at the beginning of November, winter visitors can be observed in larger numbers. In addition, Israel has many resident bird species. Again and again, interesting historical witnesses come to mind.

Areas visited include: Negev desert, Eilat on the Red Sea and its surroundings, Dead Sea, Jordan and Hula valleys, Golan and Mt Hermon, Mediterranean coast.
