The Daniyah Guitar Duo was founded in 2022 by Alice Brandão and Maja Kralj during their master’s studies at the Haute École de Musique de Genève in Switzerland, under the mentorship of renowned guitarist Judicaël Perroy.

What began as a shared academic experience quickly developed into a strong artistic partnership based on their shared passion for chamber music and musical discovery. Since its inception, the Daniyah Guitar Duo has delighted audiences with a versatile repertoire that combines classical traditions with modern influences.

The duo has performed in prestigious concert halls and festivals throughout Europe and beyond and is increasingly recognised for its musical precision, expressiveness and versatility.

In addition to the stage, Alice and Maja are dedicated teachers and have led masterclasses and workshops throughout Europe and Brazil. They also work closely with contemporary composers, premiering new works and arrangements for guitar duo.

Their commitment to artistic growth and collaboration has been recognised by several awards at international competitions.

In 2024, they became Knobloch Strings Artists and began a partnership with the brand. With an ever-growing repertoire and a commitment to telling musical stories, the Daniyah Guitar Duo continues to inspire audiences and explore new possibilities in classical guitar music.
