The concert series has been very popular with tourists and locals alike for years, not least because of the fantastic atmosphere of the “Schwarzmanderkirche“.
Under the direction of Johannes Stecher, the Wilten Boys’ Choir presents music from the late Renaissance through the early Baroque period to the 21st century, including excerpts from Palestrina’s Missa Papae Marcelli and Claudio Monteverdi’s Vespers of the Virgin Mary, as well as works by Viadana, Schütz, Rutter and Stecher – all music that is particularly expressive thanks to the clear, luminous sound of the boys’ voices! Folk songs from Tyrol round off the programme.
