The work in a museum collection is largely invisible to the outside world. People wonder what happens in the offices and depots… What is actually collected in the “Historical Collection” of the Tyrolean State Museums? Why are some objects never shown in an exhibition and yet are still important? Why can a box of washing powder tell a story? And why is it good not to be allergic to dust when working in the collection?
These and other questions will be explored at the Neighbourhood Festival 2025 at the Museum im Zeughaus.
