We celebrate the diversity of the city with a rich cultural programme, music and culinary delights! The “Festival of Diversity” is taking place for the ninth time at the Tyrolean Folk Art Museum, organised by the Integration Office of the City of Innsbruck together with the Tyrolean State Museums.
The aim is to enable encounters between different people and to celebrate togetherness in all its diversity. Every year, numerous organisations active in the field of integration take part in the “Festival of Diversity” and together set a visible example of successful coexistence.
Interculturality, integration and diversity are topics that the Tyrolean Folk Art Museum has also been dealing with for many years. The current exhibition “GERECHT? Stories about social inequalities“, which can be seen in the museum until 15 March 2026, draws attention to various forms of (in)justice and (in)equality throughout history and thus touches on important questions of our democracy today. The exhibition is freely accessible during the festival.
