With millions of objects, the Natural Science Collection of the Tyrolean State Museums is the most important documentation of nature in Tyrol and far beyond: this includes insect collections, vertebrate specimens, a large collection of botanical specimens, mineralogy, geology and palaeontology with fossils.

The new head of the collection, Dr Evelyn Kustatscher, will guide you through the various areas of the natural sciences and give you an insight not only into the impressive historical collection activities, but also into current scientific research initiatives.
