In addition to the tomb of Emperor Maximilian I and other works of art, the Court Church also holds hidden treasures.
It is hardly known that there is a remarkable chapel in the area of its presbytery. Located in the former cloistered area of the monastery, this oratory served as a choir and prayer chapel in the Franciscan monastery. Due to its Mannerist decoration, this sacred space, built around 1626/1627, occupies a special position.
On “Monument Day“, this normally inaccessible chapel can be visited on a guided tour.
