Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of historical fencing – a thrilling sporting and cultural event that brings the past to life and promises excitement for young and old!
The “Kunst des historischen Fechtens Tirol” (Kdhf Tirol) association combines centuries-old martial arts with modern combat sports. Based on the teachings of historical fencing masters, club members still train today with long swords, rapiers and other weapons in order to preserve and develop the techniques of the past as a sporting discipline.
In the atmospheric setting of the Zeughaus courtyard, interested parties can experience first-hand how the fencers of the Kdhf Tirol present the art of historical swordplay with modern elements in fights.
Please note that active participation in the exhibition fights is not possible. The event is cancelled in case of bad weather.
