Prof. Dr Mikhail Boytsov is a medievalist specialising in imperial history, head of research at the Centre for Medieval Studies at the National Research University Higher School of Economics and currently a scholarship holder of the Gerda Henkel Foundation in Düsseldorf.
As part of his research, he has repeatedly focussed on the situation in Tyrol and Innsbruck at the time of Frederick III. In 2005, he published an article in the anthology by Heinz Noflatscher and Jean-Paul Niederkorn (Der Innsbrucker Hof) entitled “Zum Frauenzimmer am Innsbrucker Hof Erzherzog Sigmunds”.
