Museum festival

The motto of this year’s museum festival at Bergisel is “City – Landscape – Nature”.

With a magnificent view over the whole of Innsbruck, we will take a close look at nature in and around the Tirol Panorama with the Kaiserjägermuseum: our natural scientists will tell us exciting facts about flora and fauna on courses and workshops, a nature quiz will take us around the whole area and into the museum, we will take a close look at the landscape in the giant circular painting in short guided tours and young and old can get creative in the cyanotype workshop, the painting station, making animal masks and in the sandpit.

The afternoon for nature lovers will be framed by culinary stations, live music, soap bubble art and walking acts.

Free shuttle service for visitors

From 12.45 pm to 5.25 pm, a shuttle bus will run every 15 to 20 minutes between DEZ (bus stop opposite IKEA / last journey at 5.15 pm), Innsbruck Messe railway station and Bergisel. The rotation is as follows: DEZ – Messe – Bergisel – DEZ – Messe – Bergisel. The east and west car parks at the DEZ are available free of charge to visitors to the festival during this period.

In the interests of sustainability, we recommend travelling by bike, on foot or by public transport as an alternative.
