443 entries were received for the 38th edition of the Austrian Graphic Design Competition 2023, twelve of which were honoured with a prize and a further four were purchased. Christina Zurfluh, Judith Neunhäuserer, Wolfgang Matuschek, Tatiana Lecomte, Andreas Werner, Fabian Seiz, Tom Eller, Matthias Noggler, PeyerGabriel, Sarah Bildstein, Fria Elfen and Michael Fliri as well as Michael Strasser, Siegfried Zaworka, Regula Dettwiler and Matthias Schönweger are thus following in the footsteps of renowned artists and former prizewinners such as Maria Lassnig and Paul Flora. The exhibition accompanying the competition puts the spotlight on this year’s winners and selected prizewinners from past competitions as protagonists of a lively art scene and presents a delightfully diverse range of art on paper.
