The “Museum Satellite” by artist AliPaloma, an “art-on-the-building-site project” that will serve as a public meeting place during the renovation of the Ferdinandeum and invite people to discuss the future of the museum, will be the setting for a semi-participatory performance by artist Nicole Weniger.
The performance opens the Young Culture Month May (YUKUMAY) 2026, in which vacant spaces in Innsbruck and throughout Tyrol are transformed into creative open spaces that are designed and used by children and young people together with artists. A cooperation between bilding – School of Art and Architecture and the Tyrolean State Museums.
