This summer, the film evening at the museum begins! Before selected film screenings at the open-air cinema, we invite you to join us on specially designed guided tours that reveal surprising connections between film themes and Tyrolean history. Rediscover the museum – and see the film with different eyes afterwards – we look forward to seeing you!
The film “The Boat That Rocked” (UK, 2009) tells the story of the pirate radio station that broadcast rock music from a ship in the 1960s. The free radio station “Radio FREIRAD” plays a special role in Tyrol: during the tour, we take a look at its beginnings as a pirate station and also shed light on the history of broadcasting in Tyrol.
Duration of the short tour: approx. 30 minutes.
