The first songbirds are already in a mating mood in early spring. Chaffinches, blue tits and great tits as well as treecreepers, nuthatches and great spotted woodpeckers are all singing in competition.
In a small group of no more than 10 people, we want to recognise bird calls and learn different strategies to better distinguish between songs. We will spend the morning on a leisurely walk in the beautiful castle park with its old trees and small ponds.
Please bring your own binoculars. In case of rain/snow the excursion will be postponed to 9 March.
