Anna-Maria Bogner was born in 1984 in Schwaz and grew up in Brixlegg. She later studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with Monica Bonvicini, Franz Graf, Elke Krystufek and (Ashley) Hans Scheirl.
The theme of space not only occupied the artist with regard to the "Ergo" exhibition at the Ferdinandeum Innsbruck, but has also characterised her artistic work for years. Her works have been presented in several countries, most recently at the Kunsthaus Göttingen, the Fondation CAB in Brussels, the Universalmuseum Joanneum in Graz, the DENK Gallery in Los Angeles and the Vasarely Museum Budapest.
In 2022, Anna-Maria Bogner was awarded the main prize of the Raiffeisen-Landesbank Tirol AG for the promotion of young artists from Tyrol.
Anna-Maria Bogner lives and works in Düsseldorf.
