Anna-Maria Bogner. Ergo

RLB Art Prize

Anna-Maria Bogner deals with our perception of space in her work. She builds on the fact that people delimit and organise space, which in itself is infinite, and that cultural and social conditions determine their experience. How do we see a space? What limits it, keeps it in line? Or could we perceive it differently?

Bogner's exhibition at the Ferdinandeum shakes up our ideas of space by breaking through familiar patterns of perception. Her installations, objects, drawings and photographs irritate and sensitise us to new possible perceptions of space.

Anna-Maria Bogner is the winner of the RLB Art Prize 2022, which has been awarded since 2004 to promote the younger generation of Tyrolean artists.

The exhibition is organised in cooperation with Raiffeisen-Landesbank Tirol AG.
