Vorarlberg Objects in the Collections of the Tyrolean Regional Museums- 1.7.2023 - 7.1.2024
To mark the 200th anniversary of the Tyrolean Landesmuseum Ferdinandeum, the vorarlberg museum is showing a selection of around 100 Vorarlberg objects from the collections of the Tyrolean Landesmuseums. Until the foundation of the Vorarlberg Provincial Museum Association in 1857, the Tyrol considered itself responsible for collecting natural, artistic and cultural objects from Vorarlberg. In this exhibition, works by Angelika Kauffmann and Gebhard Flatz can be seen, as well as taxidermy, burial objects from Roman times or the altar from Glopper Castle in Hohenems.
