In her work, Anna-Maria Bogner deals with our perception of space. In doing so, she builds on the fact that humans delimit and order the intrinsically infinite space; cultural and social conditions determine their experience. How do we see a space? What limits it, holds it in place? Or could we perceive it differently?
Anna-Maria Bogner’s exhibition at the Ferdinandeum shakes up our ideas of space by breaking through habitual patterns of perception. The artist’s installations, objects, drawings and photographs irritate and sensitise us to new possible perceptions of space.
Anna-Maria Bogner is the winner of the RLB Art Prize 2022, which has been awarded since 2004 to promote the younger generation of Tyrolean artists.
The exhibition is organised in cooperation with Raiffeisen-Landesbank Tirol AG.
